The project aimes to raise awareness and start a debate on corruption in the northern part of Cyprus informed by scientific findings and is publicized in the form of a FES-report. The report is based on a telephone survey carried out by LIPA Consulting with 356 business executives.

The best-known reference source about corruption worldwide is the Corruption Perception Index, which is annually published by Berlin-based Transparency International. The northern part of Cyprus is not covered in this index; therefore, there is no data available regarding corruption in this entity. This project aims to build a reference source for the corruption perception in the northern part of Cyprus.
